| RTO Register: NTIS ::: CRICOS Register: CRICOS |
StudyAustralian Education SystemTo provide registered qualifications to Australian students, training provider must be a "Registered Training Organisation" - RTO. That's mean they must meet set of quality standards under AQTF. This also means that the qualification issued by RTO is recognised everywhere in Australia. Once the institute is RTO, they can add or take off Qualifications from their "scope of registration". This mean whether they can deliver particular Qualification. To check if the provider is RTO and their scope of registration, to find the course you are interested in, and many more, visit NTIS webste. To provide the service - courses to overseas students the RTOs must meet additional set of requirements as it is stated in ESOS act. Then the RTO is also CRICOS (The Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) registered. Not all courses from the RTO's scope must be registered on CRICOS. To check if the RTO is CRICOS registered and their courses visit CRICOS webste. How to study in Australia from overseas
If you have decided to study in Australia, you have to visit your local "Education Agent". It's the easiest way for you if you have no experience.
Example
If OzStudy would like to deliver a course, let's say "Diploma of Graffiti Painting", we can do so. However the course will be not nationally recognised, therefore you can't gain any credits on other
institutions including universities. It will be more less a piece of paper - Award. |
